Kuzbass ship modelers brought the bronze medal of the prestigious All-Russian competitions

The All-Russian Scientific and Technical Olympiad in Ship Modeling among students and the championship of the Siberian, Ural and Volga Federal Districts in ship modeling sports have ended in the Novosibirsk Region. This is a great event for young athletes! Every year they bring their best works to Berdsk and train hard to conquer the big water of the pool. Every year, such a large-scale and important event gathers under its auspices about 60 participants from different parts of our country: from Moscow to Krasnoyarsk.
The Kuzbass national team, the general sponsor of which was the Prokopievsk Mining and Design Institute, won the third place, ahead of eight teams of strong rivals representing different regions of our country.
A total of 115 self-made vessels were allowed to launch. The age of their captains is from 8 to 16 years old. The guys competed in eight classes of models. Following the results of the competition, a set of medals was awarded in the individual competition. So, Kemerovo residents Alexey Kozlov (master of sports) and Maxim Ryabov (candidate for master of sports) took the first places according to the results of the Olympiad and the championship. Alexey is in class F4-B, and Maxim is in class F2-A. Kemerovo resident Vadim Shermer also distinguished himself in the individual competition, who earned gold in the F-FPV class. Ilya Bruy, a teacher of additional education at the same Center, trains the athlete.
The Prokopievsk Mining and Design Institute is always happy to support young talents on the way to realizing their goals and desires to glorify their native land. We are proud of the Kuzbass national team and wish them further victories and conquests.
