Overall, 2018 was not the easiest year for the industry from a financial point of view. Nevertheless, our order portfolio was supplemented with several large projects, so we can confidently call the past year as a fruitful one for the institute.

The history of Prokopyevsk Mining and Design Institute dates back to the period, when the industrial production of Kuzbass was established and developed: at that time in 1930-ies a design bureau was established within the coal mining trust of Prokopyevsk. Present-day design institute has inherited from its predecessors a solid geological foundation and complex approach to the business, which today, in the conditions of market economy, brings considerable results.
In total, more than 700 different projects have been implemented over the years, including projects for construction of open-pit and underground mines, preparation plants, technical complexes and wastewater treatment facilities. All these areas are maintained and developed in accordance with the requests of industry customers. It is not without a reason that about three years ago Prokopyevsk Mining and Design Institute opened a branch in Kemerovo. Here, in the regional capital, offices of many leading mining companies, control and supervisory agencies and authorities are concentrated. This allows the team to perform its functions with maximum efficiency in Kuzbass, as well as more actively go beyond the boundaries of the native region.
