Russian Ship Modeling Cup
An exhibition of models of ships and vessels on the shore of a reservoir, running performances of radio-controlled replica models, racing of high-speed radio-controlled models and a regatta of racing yacht models – a series of competitions in ship modeling took place in Novosibirsk from May 9 to 12.
«Cup of Russia» in ship modeling in classes of replica models, dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the Great Victory, all-Russian competitions «Youth Cup» in various classes of models, All-Russian competitions «Siberian Spring» in classes of high-speed models and the championship of the Far Eastern Federal District, SFO And Ufa in the classes of racing yachts - traditional competitions that take place in early May in Novosibirsk.
More than 160 ship modellers have arrived this year. Geography of participants: from St. Petersburg to the Far East. The participants are teenagers, young people, adult athletes who are seriously engaged in ship modeling sports.
These competitions are unique because they unite athletes of different classes on their site, which is not available at other similar events. This year we were lucky with the weather, and it can be unpredictable in Siberia.
This is not the first time that the Prokopiev Mining and Design Institute is the general sponsor of the Kemerovo team. We are always happy to support young talents on the way to realizing their goals and desires to glorify their native land.
Students under the guidance of coaches Denis Petrov and Ilya Alekseevich Bruy showed a decent result:
Maxim Ryabov
- I place in class F2-A,
- I and II place in class F4-B (boys and athletes),
- III place in the F-6 class. According to the results of the competition, Maxim fulfilled the standard of the Master of Sports of Russia in ship modeling.
Alexey Kozlov
- I place in class F4-C,
- II place in class F2-B,
- III place in class F-6.
Krizhanovsky Lev
- II place in the F-FPV class
The youth national team of the Kemerovo region - Kuzbass in the team competition took 1st place in the Youth Cup competition.
